IoT Trade Mission to Silicon Valley

The UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT), in association with BT, invites UK companies to apply for an IoT trade mission to Silicon Valley. The mission will showcase the UK’s leading capability in IoT to a well-curated audience of US enterprises from the telecoms industry at the Telecom Council’s annual TC3 Summit. Accepted companies will participate along with the UK finalists from BT Infinity Lab’s recent IoT competition.

TC3 is a two-day summit where companies that build communications networks come to discover innovation. Global telcos, vendors, VCs, and startups join  members of Telecom Council’s ComTech Forum, Service Provider Forum, IoT Forum and Investor Forum with the goal of getting more innovation to the market, faster.

Participants in DIT’s mission will receive:

  • • 2 Full Access Summit Passes (valued at $3,000)
    • A Demo Table at the DIT-Sponsored UK Pavilion (table, draping, power,
    signage included)
    • Informal dinner/drinks with representatives from the Silicon Valley
    scouting offices of major telcos (TBC)
    • Support from the local DIT trade team ahead of and during the
    • TC3 matchmaker software access to schedule onsite meetings
    • Promotion through Telecom Council’s outlets, including their blog,
    social media outlets and LinkedIn
    • Inclusion in advertising in over 40+ online communications and mobile
    focused newsletters and magazines
    • Brand promotion to the 35,000+ person Telecom Council mailing list
    • Promotion through DIT’s marketing campaign, including social, digital and
    media outreach
